OUR STORY
Agency-level expertise with more direct customer focus
Following our 1998 inception, while maintaining a solid creative and functional design focus, PlaNET grew quickly to provide a full range of web development services and custom web-based applications. In 2003, PlaNET was acquired by leading technology consultancy Ascentium Corporation. PlaNET’s processes, portfolio, and people combined with Ascentium’s financial resources and technology infrastructure successfully launched Ascentium’s Interactive Design division. In 2004 PlaNET spun off to regain business model control, and direct owner-to-customer focus. Today PlaNET operates as a low-overhead boutique consultancy, through a specialized network of independent professionals in arts such as information design, user experience, multimedia, technical development, and copywriting.
Our long history of satisfying clients and innovating with the industry has allowed us to develop strong industry relationships. These connections and our passion for a nimble, customer-centric working style allow us to provide agency expertise with the fee structure and agility of a smaller firm. Our values dictate that we only take on what we do best, where we can make a measurable impact, though a shared vision with the client.
